Calif. Supreme Court to Address Opposing Opinions Issued by Intermediate Appellate Courts in Take-Home Asbestos Exposure Cases




SAN FRANCISCO –– The California Supreme Court has agreed to weigh in on two take-home asbestos exposure disputes, the first of which involves claims asserted on behalf of the nephew of one of Pneumo Abex’s employees.

According to the California Supreme Court’s online docket, the petition for review was granted on Aug. 20. The same day, the high court also granted a petition for review in a second take-home exposure case involving claims asserted on behalf of the wife of a former employee of BNSF Railway Co.
