Missouri Court Asks Asbestos Plaintiffs to File Status Report, Warns Parties on Adherence to Federal Rules

ST. LOUIS –– A Missouri federal court has again issued a warning to parties in a pending asbestos case, saying that its intervention in the case to direct the parties on federal and local rules is “unnecessary.”

In the Aug. 12 order, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri followed up an April opinion in which it warned the parties that it would not entertain “generic, baseless” motions.
