NEW YORK –– The Coalition for Litigation Justice Inc. has filed an amici brief with a New York intermediate appellate court, contesting a recent order in which the court affirmed two asbestos judgments totaling $12 million and in part ruled that the construction site exposure case and the U.S. Naval exposure case were not wrongfully consolidated for trial since they involved plaintiffs who were exposed to asbestos in a “similar manner.”
