CHARLOTTE, N.C. –– The Official Committee of Asbestos Personal Injury Claimants has asked the federal court overseeing Garlock’s bankruptcy proceedings to reopen the record of the estimation proceeding, arguing that the asbestos defendant gave false testimony and failed to present evidence that would contradict its position that plaintiff firms had been withholding evidence of exposure to products manufactured by bankrupt companies.
