SYRACUSE, N.Y. –– Another New York federal court has weighed in on a third-party replacement parts dispute, reinforcing prior rulings that an asbestos defendant cannot be held liable for such products since it “neither had any control over the production of these products nor placed them into the stream of commerce.”

In the Feb. 18 decision, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York additionally held that the asbestos plaintiff had not presented enough evidence to sustain claims related to defendant Crane Co.’s original products.
