NEW YORK –– Defense liaison counsel for New York City’s coordinated asbestos docket have filed a report in which they object to several applications for accelerated trial settings, contending that some of the plaintiffs’ depositions have not been taken.
On Jan. 13, defense liaison counsel also noted in a letter to Special Master Shelley Rossoff Olsen of the New York Supreme Court for New York County that a number of forum objections to other asbestos cases have since been withdrawn or resolved.
