Garlock Files RICO, Conspiracy, Fraud Claims Against 4 Asbestos Plaintiff Firms

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Garlock Sealing Technologies LLC has filed several lawsuits against a number of asbestos plaintiff firms, alleging fraud and conspiracy, sources confirmed to HarrisMartin Publishing.
The lawsuits, filed Jan. 9 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of North Carolina, named Shein Law Center Ltd., Belluck & Fox, Simon Greenstone Panatier Bartlett, and Waters & Kraus as defendants.
The lawsuits were filed under seal. In cover sheets filed in conjunction with the lawsuits, Garlock categorizes the claims as “recovery of money/property.”
