LOS ANGELES –– A California appellate court has affirmed an asbestos defense verdict for several automobile manufacturers, ruling that the trial court did not err in issuing orders relating to the limitations on expert witness testimony.
In the Oct. 30 opinion, the California 2nd District Court of Appeal in part ruled that since the plaintiffs did not specially ask the trial court to allow their expert to identify certain medical literature or studies, they could not raise the issue on appeal.
