AUSTIN –– The Texas Supreme Court is set to hear oral arguments in the appeal of the reversal of a $13.5 million verdict by an intermediate appellate court that found the plaintiffs had failed to establish that the defendant’s joint compound product was a substantial contributing factor in the development of the decedent’s mesothelioma.
Oral argument is scheduled for Sept. 9, according to a recent order entered by the high court. Each set has been allotted 20 minutes for oral argument.
