LOS ANGELES -- Following a bench trial, a California state judge has entered judgment for several asbestos defendants, including BW/IP, ruling that it could not be held liable for asbestos that had later been added to their products. Hall, et al. v. Alfal Laval Inc., et al., No. BC373038 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).
The judgment, entered in February by the California Superior Court for Los Angeles County, was one of several judgments finding that the remaining defendants were not liable for the plaintiffs' injuries.
