PHILADELPHIA - An appeals court in Pennsylvania has upheld an award of more than $500,000 to two men who claimed they suffered from pleural thickening and asbestosis as a result of their exposure to a John Crane rope product. Murray v. John Crane, Inc., et al., Nos. 357 EDA 2000, 358 EDA 2000 (Pa. Super. Ct.).
