LOS ANGELES –– Calling the question of causation in asbestos cases an “exceedingly difficult one,” a California federal court has granted a defense in limine motion seeking to exclude “each and every” exposure testimony.

In a civil minutes document that ruled on several in limine motions, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California found that the testimony of Dr. Arnold Brody satisfied neither the state’s causation test nor federal Daubert standards.
