NEW YORK — A New York federal judge has adopted a magistrate judge’s recommendation in full and awarded Atlas Copco North America fees it sought in defending third-party asbestos and silica coverage claims brought by Travelers Insurance Co. (NYSE:TRV).

Judge J. Paul Oetken of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York issued an order April 5, overruling Traveler’s objections and adopting the Jan. 31 Report and Recommendation by Magistrate Judge James C. Francis IV.
