WASHINGTON, D.C. –– The Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation has rejected efforts by asbestos plaintiffs represented by the Cascino Vaughan Law Offices Ltd. to halt the transfer of their claims to the national asbestos coordinated docket, ruling that the MDL judge is still “in the best position” to know when transfer of those claims is no longer warranted.

In the April 1 transfer order, the JPML noted that the lawsuits filed by Cascino Vaughan in the Seventh Circuit are one of the few exceptions to a recent order ceasing the transfer of claims to the docket in Philadelphia.
