Second Special Master Assigned to New York City Asbestos Litigation Docket

NEW YORK — The New York City Asbestos Litigation will have two special masters, each with different responsibilities in 2013, according to an order released March 4 by the docket’s coordinating judge.

New York Supreme Court Justice Sherry Klein Heitler said in the order that current special master Claire P. Gutekunst will serve in her capacity as Adequacy Order Special Master and will be joined by Shelley Rossoff Olsen, who has been engaged as the Discovery Special Master for the calendar year.
