NEW YORK –– A New York state court has awarded summary judgment to asbestos defendant Tishman Liquidating Corporation Inc., ruling that the plaintiffs had failed to prove that the general contractor had control over work completed at a construction site.
In the Feb. 13 order, the New York Supreme Court for New York County found that the defendant could not be held liable under Labor Law § 200.
