DENVER –– A Colorado federal court has declined efforts by an asbestos defendant to obtain some settlement agreement information in a separate California case filed by the same plaintiffs, ruling that the discovery of the settlement amounts will not likely lead to admissible evidence.
While the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado granted the plaintiffs’ motion for a protective order with regards to the settlement amounts in the Jan. 2 order, it did, however, grant defendant Dana Kepner Co.
