BALTIMORE –– A Dec. 17 hearing was held to address a motion filed by an asbestos plaintiff law firm that proposes the consolidation of more than 13,000 non-mesothelioma claims for discovery and trial, sources confirm to HarrisMartin.
According to a Nov. 15 notice, the Maryland Circuit Court for Baltimore City was scheduled to address the motion –– which defendant Union Carbide has described as a “non-starter” –– in a Dec. 17 hearing starting at 9:30 a.m.
