MDL Court Orders Scapa Dryer Fabrics to Identify Production Cards from Pulp Mill

PHILADELPHIA –– The court overseeing the national asbestos products liability litigation MDL has ordered defendant Scapa Dryer Fabrics to identify production cards for the pulp mill at which the plaintiff was allegedly exposed to asbestos.
In the Nov. 1 order, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania limited the order to those master and production cards only for the Rayonier pulp mill in Jesup, Georgia, opining that those are the only ones “relevant” to the pending litigation.
