Kelly-Moore Found Not Responsible for Drywaller's Mesothelioma

ORANGE, Texas - A Texas jury has found that the asbestos exposure and subsequent development of mesothelioma by a drywaller was not the fault of any product made or supplied by the Kelly-Moore Paint Co. Love v. Kelly-Moore Paint Co., No. B010305-C (Texas Dist. Ct., Orange Cty.).
The unanimous Orange County District Court jury entered the verdict on behalf of Kelly-Moore on June 13, finding that Thomas Love was never exposed to the company's joint compound product as was alleged in a complaint filed after Love was diagnosed with mesothelioma.
