Ill. Supreme Court to Hear Arguments in Forum Dispute Involving Asbestos Exposure

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. –– The Illinois Supreme Court is scheduled to hear oral arguments relating to a forum dispute in an asbestos case filed in Illinois by a Mississippi resident.

Illinois Central Railroad’s appeal of a lower court decision denying its motion to dismiss on forum non conveniens grounds is slated to be called on Sept. 19 at 9:30 a.m., according to the high court’s docket for the September term.
