Defendants, Plaintiffs File Post-Trial Motions Contesting $123,000 Verdict

PHILADELPHIA -- All parties involved in an asbestos case that recently ended with a $123,000 verdict have filed post-trial motions, with the two remaining defendants contending that settlement amounts will exceed the verdict and the plaintiff arguing the damages award is "patently insufficient." Paasch, et al. v. Crane Co., et al., November Term 2010, No. 0445 (Pa. Ct. Comm. Pls., Philadelphia Cty.).

According to an order entered March 29 by the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas for Philadelphia County, Judge Ricardo C. Jackson will hear oral arguments relating to the post-trial motions on April 27.
