Ill. Jury Returns Verdict for John Crane in Take-Home Case

BLOOMINGTON, Ill - An Illinois jury has returned a verdict for John Crane Inc. in a take-home exposure case brought by the ex-wife of a former Kraft Foods plant worker. Garrelts v. John Crane Inc., et al., No. 11 L 121 (Ill. Cir. Ct., McLean Cty.).

Sources told HarrisMartin that jurors in McLean County Circuit Court returned the verdict March 8, accepting John Crane's assertion that plaintiff Carolyn Garrelts failed to provide sufficient evidence of exposure to the company's packing products.
