Verdict for Crane Co. in N.Y. Case Involving Bethlehem Steel Exposures




NEW YORK - A New York jury has returned a unanimous verdict for Crane Co. in an asbestos case brought by two former steel workers who alleged that they were exposed to asbestos-containing replacement parts and insulation used with the company's valves and pumps. Michalski v. A.O. Smith Water Products, et al., No. 100021/2007; P_aolini v. A.O. Smith Water Products, et al._, No. 101192/1999 (N.Y. Sup. Ct., New York Cty.).

The verdict was handed up Feb. 23 by jurors in the New York County Supreme Court following a consolidated trial presided over by Justice Paul G. Feinman.
