PHILADELPHIA -- Several parties have submitted comments to Philadelphia's Mass Tort Program's decision to suspend the practice of trying cases by reverse bifurcation, with one recent filing "applauding" the court's decision. Mass Tort Program (Pa. Ct. Comm. Pls., Philadelphia Cty.).
In a Jan. 23 comment filed with the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas for Philadelphia County, several businesses, including the Pennsylvania Business council and the American Tort Reform Association additionally urged the court "to make these changes permanent."
