Miss. High Court to Hear Appeal of $15.2 Million Verdict on Jan. 30

JACKSON, Miss. -- The Mississippi Supreme Court is slated to hear oral arguments relating to the appeal of a $15.2 million asbestos verdict that was handed down in April to a former oilfield worker, according to the court's master docket calendar. Phillips 66 Co., et al., v. Lofton, No. 2010-CA-01465-SCT (Miss. Sup. Ct.).

Oral arguments in the appeal are scheduled to take place on Jan. 30 at 1:30 p.m., the recently released calendar says.
