WILMINGTON, Del. - A Delaware judge who recently denied motions for summary judgment filed by the Crane Co. in two asbestos cases has rejected the company's efforts to reargue the matters and certify interlocutory appeals of the decisions to the state Supreme Court. In Re Asbestos Litigation: Howton, Grgich, Nos. N11C-03-218, N10C-12-011 (Del. Super. Ct., New Castle Cty.).
New Castle County Superior Court Judge John A. Parkins Jr. said in an order issued May 1 that Crane's motion for reargument is a rehash of its original motion for summary judgment and consists of claims that should have been presented previously.
