photo-21 Article: "Asbestos Burden in Two Cases of Mesothelioma Where the Work History Included Manufacturing of Cigarette Filters"

Summary: The study provides quantitative tissue burden analysis data from two mesothelioma cases where the work histories of the subjects included the manufacturing of cigarette filters that contained crocidolite asbestos. Data analyzed includes the number of asbestos bodies and uncoated fibers per gram of tissue and the dimensions of such structures. The researchers concluded that the individuals studied had an appreciable homogeneous exposure to crocidolite asbestos.
