Ky. Court Upholds Defense Verdict in Favor of Ford Motor

FRANKFORT, Ky. -- The Kentucky Court of Appeals has affirmed a defense verdict in favor of Ford Motor Co., ruling that all of the contested evidence was properly admitted and that it was the responsibility of the jury to weigh any conflicts highlighted in cross-examination. Rehm, et al. v. Ford Motor Co., et al., No. 2009-CA-001868-MR (Ky. Ct. App.).
While the appellate court admitted in its Oct. 7 opinion that some of the testimony proffered by the defendant was "weak," it was not wrongfully admitted during trial.
