Agency Taking Time to Evaluate Consult on Tremolite Asbestos

icCendicomments about a government consultation compiling medical evidence of health risks associated with exposure to tremolite asbestos are now being taken under advisement by the agency that prepared the document.
photo-1The public comment period on proposed changes to the nearly 50-page report compiled by the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) ended recently and will form the basis for a complete consult expected to be released as early as the end of April.
