Woman Who Claims She Has Mesothelioma Denied Damages by Texas Jury

KOUNTZ, Texas - A woman who claimed she has mesothelioma as a result of exposure to an asbestos-containing joint compound and fibers carried home on her husband's work clothes has been denied damages by a Texas jury. Sutton v. Dana Corp., et al., No. n/a (Texas Dist. Ct., Hardin Cty.).
The Hardin County District Court jury awarded verdicts to defendants Kelly-Moore Paint Co. and the Dana Corp. on June 12 after finding they were not responsible for injuries alleged by 62-year-old Verda Sutton.
