New York Jury Finds Distributors Liable in Lung Cancer Case;
Awards Plant Worker, Wife $2 Million

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. - Two distributors of asbestos-containing products have been found liable in New York for causing a former plant workers' lung cancer. Adamec v. Buffalo Insulation, et al., No. 105901 (N.Y. Sup. Ct., Niagara Cty.).
A Niagara County Supreme Court jury earlier this month awarded Terry Adamec and his wife, Donna, nearly $2 million following a two-week trial before Judge James Kane.
