CANTON, N.Y. - Plaintiffs who won a landmark jury verdict against retailer Sears, Roebuck & Co. have petitioned a New York state court, asking a judge to set aside the $1.5 million award and order a new trial to reconsider the apportionment of fault in light of evidence presented at trial. Plumb v. Sears, Roebuck & Co., No. 106851/00 (N.Y. Sup. Ct., St. Lawrence Cty.).
