SAN FRANCISCO -- A California jury has awarded nearly $1.4 million to an asbestos plaintiff who claims that he was exposed to asbestos in Kent cigarettes. Lenney, et al. v. Armstrong International Inc., et al., No. CGC-10-275529 (Calif. Super. Ct., San Francisco Cty.).

The California Superior Court for San Francisco County jury reached the verdict on March 3. According to the court's online docket, trial began on Jan. 19 with Judge John K. Stewart presiding.
