NEWARK, N.J. - A bankruptcy judge in New Jersey has ruled that a claim by bankrupt asbestos defendant G-I Holdings for coverage of more than 100 environmental harm lawsuits is not a core proceeding, although it is 'related' and could have an effect on the company's bankruptcy case. In Re G-I Holdings, Inc., No. 01-567 (D. N.J., Bankr.).
