Jury Finds for Defendants in 1st Trial Before MDL Judge Robreno

PHILADELPHIA -- A federal court jury has reached a defense verdict in an asbestos case that was the first to be presided over by Judge Eduardo C. Robreno since he took over the Asbestos Products Liability MDL in 2008, sources told HarrisMartin. Schumacher v. American Biltrite Inc., et al., No. 10-1627 (E.D. Pa.).

On Nov. 16, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania jurors found for defendants Azrock Industries and John Crane after a two-week trial and one-and-a-half days of juror deliberations.
