SAN FRANCISCO -- A defendant involved in a component parts dispute pending in California's highest court has supported its petition for review, contending that the plaintiffs' reliance on a foreseeability argument is misplaced. O'Neil, et al., v. Crane Co., et al., No. S177401 (Calif. Sup. Ct.).

The defendant urges the California Supreme Court to follow the lead of "the majority of courts to address these issues" in the June 29 reply brief.
