Summary: A case report discussing this rare tumor of unknown etiology. Benign cystic mesothelioma, according to the authors, usually presents with mild abdominal pain and appearance of solid tumor. Diagnosis is oftentimes difficult and computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, as well as aspiration cytology, are useful in suggesting the pre-operative diagnosis, the researchers claim.
