Kaiser Gypsum Prevails in Jury Trial after Challenging Product Identification

LOS ANGELES -- After a four-week trial and two hours of deliberations, a California jury has returned a defense verdict in favor of lone remaining defendant Kaiser Gypsum Co. Inc., finding that there was insufficient evidence of exposure, sources told HarrisMartin. Dix, et al. v. Kaiser Gypsum Co. Inc., No. BC390954 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).
Judge Michelle R. Rosenblatt of the California Superior Court for Los Angeles County presided over the trial, which ended in the jury's 11-1 verdict on April 12.
