Los Angeles Jury Reaches Verdict in Favor of John Crane

LOS ANGELES -- A California jury has reached a defense verdict in favor of John Crane Inc., determining that although the decedent was exposed to the defendant's products, the exposure was not substantial enough to cause his mesothelioma. Vaught, et al. v. John Crane Inc., No. 392620 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).
The trial was presided over by Judge David L. Minning of the Superior Court for Los Angeles County. Jurors reached their verdict on March 15.
John Crane was the lone remaining defendant at the time of the verdict.
