Ford Motor Vindicated in California Auto Repair Asbestos Case

LOS ANGELES -- A California jury has reached a verdict for defendant Ford Motor Co., rejecting the plaintiffs' claims that the decedent's mesothelioma was caused by exposure to asbestos in the company's brake products. Adams v. Allis Chalmbers, et al., No. BC337457 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).
The California Superior Court for Los Angeles County jury reached the verdict on Dec. 21 after a trial presided over by Judge Amy D. Hogue.
