BALTIMORE -- A Maryland appellate court has affirmed a $1.7 million asbestos verdict, acknowledging that there was a lack of direct evidence linking the plaintiff to the defendant's product, there was "more than enough" circumstantial evidence linking the two. Scapa Inc., et al. v. Saville, No. 540 September Term, 2008 (Md. Ct. Special App.).
