Jury Reaches $17 Million Verdict; Defendant Settles During Phase II

PHILADELPHIA -- A Pennsylvania jury awarded a total of $17 million in the first phase of two asbestos trials before a settlement agreement was reached during the second phase, in which the jury would have determined liability and causation as to the lone remaining defendant, sources told HarrisMartin.
