Kentucky Jurors Find for Defendants in Asbestos-Related Colon Cancer Case

LOUISVILLE, Ky. –– A Kentucky jury has found for two asbestos defendants remaining in a colon cancer case in which the defendants argued, in part, that there was insufficient evidence supporting a link between asbestos exposure and the development of colon cancer. Stokes, et al. v. GE and CBS Corp., et al., No. 11-CL-00804 (Ky. Cir. Ct., Jefferson Cty.).

The Kentucky Circuit Court for Jefferson County jury reached the verdict on May 30. Judge James M. Shake presided over the trial, which started on May 14.
