BALTIMORE -- Jack Snyder, M.D., Ph.D., an expert who previously testified in asbestos cases, has pled guilty to a felony charge that he made false and fraudulent statements regarding financial disclosures. United States of America v. Jack W. Snyder, No. 08-0512 (D. Md.).
In a judgment entered Feb. 9 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, Snyder was placed on probation for one year, was sentenced to perform 160 hours of community service and ordered to pay a $200,000 fine immediately.
