Jury Reaches Verdict for Leslie Controls after 20 Minutes of Deliberations

LOS ANGELES -- After deliberating for less than 20 minutes, a California jury has determined that the remaining defendant in a naval exposure case did not owe a duty to warn the plaintiff of dangers associated with asbestos exposure. Pelletier, et al. v. Alfa Laval Inc., et al., No. BC381497 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).
The Los Angeles County Superior Court jury reached the verdict on June 26 after a two-week trial presided over by Judge Elizabeth Allen White.
