FALLS CHURCH, Va. -- Citing a recent decision by a Michigan trial court to preclude the testimony of asbestos expert R. Michael Kelly, M.D., the Claims Resolution Management Corporation said recently that it will not accept medical evidence authored by Dr. Kelly.
In the February 2009 notice, the CRMC said that pending an investigation, a temporary hold has been placed on any Manville Trust claims that use Dr. Kelly's reports as supporting medical evidence.
