Fla. Jury Reaches Defense Verdict in Favor of Chrysler

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- A Florida jury has entered a verdict in favor of Chrysler in a mesothelioma case after deliberating for two-and-a-half days, sources told HarrisMartin. Bralish, et al. v. Chrysler, LLC, et al., No. 06-4964 (27) (Fla. 17th Jud. Cir. Ct., Broward Cty.).
The Florida Seventeenth Judicial Circuit Court for Broward County jury reached the verdict on March 27, rejecting the plaintiff's claims that her father's mesothelioma was caused by exposure to asbestos in Chrysler's brakes and clutches.
The trial was presided over by Judge Charles M. Greene.
