Judge Excludes Harron Testimony; Dismisses Hundreds of Cases

PHILADELPHIA -- The judge overseeing the federal Asbestos MDL has issued an order granting defense motions to exclude the testimony of Dr. Ray A. Harron and dismissing the more than 800 cases in which he made a diagnosis. In re: Asbestos Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 875 (E.D. Pa.).

According to a footnote in the one-page Jan. 30 order signed by Judge Eduardo C. Robreno of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the parties agreed that the diagnoses from Dr. Harron should be excluded.
