The Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation has assigned all DePuy Pinnacle Hip Implant case to Judge James E. Kinkeade in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas for all pretrial proceedings.
The Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation has denied a motion to vacate the conditional transfer of 16 actions to the DePuy Orthopaedics Inc. ASR Hip Implant Products Liability Litigation, saying pending motions to remand can be decided by the transferee judge.
The Judicial Council of California has assigned San Francisco Superior Court Judge Richard A. Kramer to consider a petition to coordinate DePuy Pinnacle hip implant cases in a separate proceeding from existing DePuy ASR implant cases, but before the same trial judge.
